Duties

Develop and implement personalized care plans aligned with individual goals and needs Assist clients with daily activities, including mobility, personal hygiene, and meal preparation Monitor and document progress, noting any changes or concerns to inform ongoing support strategies Collaborate with team members, families, and other professionals to coordinate care efforts Provide emotional support and encouragement to promote independence and confidence Maintain a safe environment by adhering to safety protocols and reporting hazards promptly Participate in training sessions to stay current with best practices and regulatory requirements

Qualifications

Prior experience working with individuals requiring specialized support or care is preferred Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively and empathetically Patience, adaptability, and a genuine desire to assist others in achieving their goals Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team Certification or training in relevant areas such as first aid, CPR, or disability support is advantageous but not mandatory Must be reliable, responsible, and committed to maintaining confidentiality and professionalism
