Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEN Holiday Club Coordinator to oversee our inclusive programme designed for children with Special and Additional Educational Needs. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with individuals with additional needs and experience in special education. This role requires strong communication skills and the ability to create a fun and safe environment.

Responsibilities

Manage daily operations of the club, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for all children. Develop and implement engaging activities tailored to the needs of children. Collaborate with staff to provide effective communication strategies that accommodate needs of all children. Grow positive relationships with children, parents and caregivers. Supervise staff and the delivery of activities, providing guidance where necessary. Maintain accurate records of attendance, activities and individual progress. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the club environment.

Requirements

Proven experience working with children, particularly those with SEN. Background in special education or related fields is highly desirable. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to adapt activities for diverse needs. Excellent communication skills to effectively engage with children, parents and staff. A compassionate approach towards working with individuals with disabilities is essential. Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also demonstrating leadership qualities.
The suitable candidate will be available to support with planning for the club during the term-time (minimum of 2 hours) and available for the majority of all school holiday days.

Pay: 18.50-25.00 per hour
