SEND Learning Support Assistant



Salary:

Pt 3-5 (FTE 25525.00 - 26312.00) Actual Salary 19309.55-19904.91

ASAP

Hours:

8:30am - 4.00pm, 35hrs term time + insets (36.4 working weeks)

Due to increased needs, we wish to appoint a versatile, enthusiastic and experienced classroom practitioner to provide support to children with special educational needs. (A background of working with young people with SEN needs and behaviour difficulties would be an advantage).

We are looking for colleagues who:-

enjoy working with children have experience of working with children with special educational needs are committed to raising standards have excellent communications skills Level 3 qualification (or currently working towards achieving) Ability to use ICT and learn new skills
They will be required to:

work in collaboration with class teachers work under the direction of the Special Needs Co-ordinator (SENCO) contribute to records kept on pupil progress discuss how the children cope with their work with the SENCO and class teachers cater for the personal needs of SEN children
