We are looking to appoint a caring, inspiring and highly motivated person to join our staff team to support a child in KS2. A sense of fun and enthusiasm for the job are essential.
The successful candidates will:
Have previous experience of working with and supporting pupils of primary age within a school setting
Have previous experience of working with children with additional needs.
Experience of supporting children with personal, social, emotional and behavioural needs
A commitment to improving children's learning through tailored provision
The ability to enthuse, motivate and engage children in all areas of learning
Enthusiasm, patience and a calm manner
A variety of communication skills to respond to the needs of children and to work effectively with professionals and parents
Experience of, or the ability to work in a team and with other professionals to tailor provision for individual pupil needs
Experience of delivering interventions and an understanding of how to meet the needs of pupil with additional needs as well as promoting inclusion
Good levels of literacy, numeracy and ICT
Experience of using a range of positive behaviour management techniques
A 'can do' attitude and evidence of being a team player
A willingness to contribute to the broader life of the school community
This post is 32.08 hours per week, Monday - Friday, Term Time only.
Working hours are 8.35am - 3.30pm (with a 30 min lunchbreak).
