We are seeking to appoint a highly effective, caring, enthusiastic and
experienced SEN Learning Support Assistant
to join our friendly and supportive team. The right candidate will have a proven track record of working with children with Special Educational Needs, including Autism, ADHD and associated needs.
You will work 1:1 with children aged 2-4years old to support them at our setting. Essentially you will hold either a Level 2 or 3 in a relevant early years qualification.
Skills Needed

A calm nature.
Experience working with children with social communication difficulties and associated difficulties
Ability to improve the communication and interaction of the supported child.
A proven track record of working with children with Special Educational Needs and of delivering a personalised curriculum.
Ability to support the sensory needs of the child.
Be able to challenge the cognition and learning of the child.
Be able to work on Support Plan targets/Educational Health Care Plan (EHCP) targets (if applicable)
Is used to working closely with SENCO and external professionals.
Is flexible, pro-active and hands-on.
Vision, energy and enthusiasm for this challenge and has excellent organisational and interpersonal skills
Is experienced in establishing and maintaining good professional relationships.
