, supporting pupils with

complex and profound learning needs

. This is a full-time position starting in

September 2025

This is a nurturing and well-resourced special school that caters for children with a wide range of complex needs, including:


Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties (PMLD) Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD) Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC) Sensory impairments and medical needs
The school provides a highly personalised curriculum, therapeutic support, and a strong emphasis on communication, independence, and emotional wellbeing.


The Role:

: SEN Primary Teacher

Location

: Crawley, West Sussex

Start Date

: September 2025

Contract

: Full-time, long-term (with potential for permanent placement)
You will be responsible for delivering a creative, multi-sensory curriculum tailored to the individual needs of your pupils. You'll work closely with a team of experienced teaching assistants, therapists, and support staff to create a safe, engaging, and inclusive learning environment.


What We're Looking For:



Qualified Teacher Status (QTS or equivalent) Experience working with children with complex SEND, ideally in a special school setting A nurturing, patient, and flexible approach to teaching Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset Confidence in using alternative communication methods (e.g., PECS, Makaton, AAC) is a plus
