Job Description
Justteachers are looking for a Support Worker to work at a specialist provision based in Bourne. This is a full-time role, due to start as soon as possible, with shortlisting currently taking place.
As a Support worker you will be working to assist children with a variety of complex needs with their learning and development within school. Supporting children and young adults with special educational needs is a highly rewarding vocation. The school supports students of differing ages from 11 to 16 years old.
Key responsibilities of the role include:
Providing tailored support to meet the individual needs of students with additional educational needs. Assisting in the planning and delivery of engaging lessons and activities. Supporting students in developing independence and social interaction skills.

To be considered for this role, candidates must have:
Experience working with Autism, Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties (PMLD), Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD), Visual Impairment, Hearing Impairment, communicational difficulties, Mild Learning Difficulties (MLD), Social Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH), Physical Disabilities and other complex needs Experienced any of the following training; PECS, BSL, SCIP. Team Teach, Manual Handling, Safeguarding, Epilepsy Training, Autism Awareness Comfortable with Personal Care (If required)
