Job Description

Duties:
- Assist in implementing Surrey Support Plans (SSPs) for children- MUST have knowledge about making referrals to the council.
- Support children in developing social, communication, and behavioral skills
- Collaborate with special education teachers and therapists to create a supportive learning environment
- Monitor and document progress of children in reaching their developmental goals
- Create and maintain a safe and nurturing environment for children.

Skills:
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and other staff members
- Knowledge of special education practices and strategies
- Patience, empathy, and the ability to remain calm in challenging situations
- Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a teamSen experience.

-A relevant childcare qualification for the role [NNEB,NVQ2 or NVQ3/Diploma] alongside certificate for SENCO ROLE.
