Job Description

Do you have a passion for supporting students with Special Educational Needs ? Do you have experience working within a Secondary School ? An outstanding opening has come to fruition for a SEN Teaching Assistant who will also be supporting a range of other SEND needs like ADHD and SEMH.

Roles & Responsibilities:

SEN Teaching Assistant Provide 1:1 or Group support to children with Special Educational Needs Maintain the classroom and ensure all equipment is maintained to a safe standard Assist the Class Teacher with daily running of the classroom Always exhibit a positive and enthusiastic attitude Demonstrate values and behaviours that are consistent with the role and align with the role's expectations. Promote, support, and facilitate inclusion by encouraging the participation of all children in learning and extra-curricular activities.
Experience

Prior experience working with special education needs
Evidence that you use your initiative, are motivated and enthusiastic
Capacity to develop professional relationships with pupils, staff and parents
Confidence with behaviour management and following a school's ethos and guidelines
Teaching Assistants trained to Level 2 or Level 3 are highly sought after, but qualifications are not essential.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: 91.52-120.00 per day
