We are seeking a

dedicated and enthusiastic full-Time SEN Teaching Assistant

to join our supportive team at a mainstream secondary school in

Welwyn

. This role involves working closely with students who have

ADHD

,

ASD

and

behavioural challenges

, helping them to access learning and reach their full potential.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide one-to-one or small group support for students with SEN, particularly those with ASD, ADHD, and behavioural needs. Assist in implementing personalised learning and behaviour strategies in collaboration with the SENCO and teaching staff. Help create a safe, inclusive, and engaging classroom environment. Support students with emotional regulation, social development, and classroom participation. Track and report on student progress, behaviour, and engagement.

What We're Looking For:

Experience working with children or young people with SEN, especially ASD, ADHD, or SEMH. Strong behaviour management skills and a calm, consistent approach. A team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. A genuine interest in supporting students with additional needs.
