Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Teacher to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and a commitment to fostering a supportive and engaging learning environment for children. This role requires effective communication skills, behaviour management techniques, and the ability to tailor teaching methods to meet the diverse needs of students, including those with special educational needs.

Hows of work:

08:30am-15:30pm

Pay:

165 - 245 per day including holiday

Responsibilities



Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that cater to the individual learning styles of students. Provide instruction in core subjects such as Math, while integrating speech therapy techniques where necessary. Foster a positive classroom environment that encourages student participation and collaboration. Utilise behaviour management strategies to maintain discipline and promote a respectful atmosphere. Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to support their academic growth. Collaborate with parents, caregivers, and other educators to create a holistic approach to each child's education. Maintain accurate records of student performance and attendance. Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills and stay current with educational best practices. Mentor and support fellow educators as needed, sharing expertise in areas such as applied behaviour analysis or tutoring.

Requirements



A degree in Education or a related field, with a focus on Early Childhood Education preferred. Experience working with children in an educational or childcare setting is essential. Knowledge of special education practices and experience in teaching students with diverse needs is highly desirable. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with an emphasis on proofreading lesson materials. Ability to create inclusive lesson plans that accommodate various learning abilities. Experience in teaching physical education or mentoring younger teachers is an advantage. A genuine passion for nurturing children's development through innovative teaching methods. Familiarity with toddler care and preschool experience will be beneficial.
