Teach South are excited to be supporting a highly regarded Alternative Provision in Poole with the recruitment of

2 SEN Teachers

to join their dedicated team from

February half term

. These are

full time, permanent roles

offering a rewarding opportunity to make a meaningful and lasting impact on learners with additional needs.

This nurturing provision caters for pupils with

moderate to complex learning difficulties

, including

physical disabilities, sensory impairments and medical needs

. The school is committed to ensuring every child receives an exceptional, personalised education that supports their wellbeing, independence, and academic progress.

About the Role:

As an SEN Teacher, you will:

Lead tailored learning for a small, diverse class of pupils with complex needs.

Personalise all learning and therapeutic approaches

to meet individual EHCP targets. Work collaboratively with a multi-disciplinary team including therapists and support staff. Create safe, creative, and engaging learning environments. Support pupils to achieve their potential socially, emotionally and academically.

About You:

To be successful, you will:

Be a qualified teacher (QTS or equivalent). Have experience of working with pupils with SEND - ideally complex needs. Be skilled at adapting learning and

differentiating approaches for individual pupils

. Be compassionate, resilient and child-centred in everything you do. Have excellent communication and teamwork skills.
