We are seeking a

skilled, compassionate and resilient SEN Teacher

What You'll Be Doing



Plan and deliver engaging, evidence-informed lessons tailored to individual pupil needs Support pupils with SEND and trauma histories to make academic, social and emotional progress Use assessment to track progress and adapt teaching strategies effectively Maintain high expectations for learning and behaviour in line with school policies Work closely with teaching assistants and specialist staff to meet pupils' needs Build strong, professional relationships with colleagues, families and external agencies Contribute to professional development, reflective practice and school improvement Uphold safeguarding responsibilities and follow procedures rigorously Create a safe, inclusive and nurturing classroom environment Recognise and respond sensitively to pupils' emotional and behavioural needs

What We're Looking For



Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or Qualified Teacher Learning and Skills (QTLS) Proven experience teaching pupils with complex needs and challenging behaviour Strong understanding of curriculum, assessment and behaviour management Commitment to safeguarding, inclusion and professional standards Resilience, empathy, adaptability and passion for supporting vulnerable pupils Experience in special education or trauma-informed teaching Knowledge of SEND, social-emotional learning and therapeutic approaches Commitment to ongoing professional development
