Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Teacher to join our educational team for a new project - Oasis AlternativeProvision. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to fostering a positive learning environment and will be responsible for educating early years/foundation stage in an Alternative Education Provision. This role requires effective communication skills and the ability to engage with children of different backgrounds, with special educational needs.
Responsibilities
Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that meet curriculum standards.
Educate children with SEN, ensuring a comprehensive understanding of STEPS curriculum
Implement Behaviour analysis techniques to support students with diverse learning needs.
Foster a nurturing and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and growth.
Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues to promote student success.
Assess student progress through regular evaluations and provide constructive feedback.
Maintain accurate records of student performance and attendance.
Collaborate with other educators and support staff to enhance the educational experience.
Work with others to Supervise children during playtime and other activities to ensure their safety and well-being.
Requirements
Proven experience in teaching or childcare, particularly with preschool-aged children.
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
Knowledge of special education practices is highly desirable.
Ability to proofread educational materials for clarity and accuracy.
Experience in teaching physical education is an advantage.
A genuine passion for educating children and helping them achieve their potential.
Relevant teaching qualifications in education or childcare are preferred.
