Following our recent positive ISI inspection and re-accreditation by Nurture UK, we are looking for an SEN Primary Team to join our expanding provision. The Role we are seeking an enthusiastic, skilled, and compassionate SEN Primary Teacher to join our committed team. The successful candidate will have experience of working with young people with additional needs and a deep understanding of the importance of nurture and emotional wellbeing in the learning process. You will be responsible for planning, delivering, and assessing a range of subjects. You will also lead a team of Teaching Assistants (TAs), supporting and guiding their work to ensure consistency and effectiveness in the classroom. An understanding of the EHCP (Education, Health and Care Plan) process, including contributing to and participating in Annual Reviews, is highly desirable, as this role involves liaising closely with families, external professionals, and the wider multi-disciplinary team. Key Responsibilitieso Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons across a range of subjects.o Create a safe, nurturing, and inclusive learning environment that promotes emotional wellbeing and supports individual progress.o Use a variety of teaching strategies to support learners with a range of needs, including ASD,SEMH, ADHD, and other learning differences.o Work collaboratively with colleagues and leadership team to ensure EHCP targets are incorporated into learning and regularly reviewed.o Line manage and support a small team of Teaching Assistants, providing clear direction, regular feedback, and ongoing professional development.o Assess, record, and report on pupil progress, maintaining accurate records and contributing to termly reviews.o Foster strong relationships with parents/carers and external professionals, contributing to an holistic and team-based approach to support.
