, working with secondary-aged students who have Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs.
Position Details:
Role: Full-Time Supply Teaching Assistant (20-week post)
Location: Specialist SEMH Provision, Secondary Aged Setting (Ashington/Blyth)
Duration: 12 weeks
Daily Rate: 90-100 per day (depending on experience and suitability)
Key Responsibilities:
Support the teacher in engaging and inclusive lessons designed to meet the needs of students with SEMH.
Provide emotional and behavioural support to students, fostering a positive learning environment.
Work collaboratively with colleagues, support staff, and external professionals to ensure the best outcomes for students.
Maintain a nurturing and safe environment that promotes learning and development.
What We're Looking For:
Teaching Assistants with an interest in SEMH education.
Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with students and staff.
Experience in mainstream or specialist settings is an advantage but not required.
