is seeking a committed and nurturing
SEN Teaching Assistant
to join their dedicated SEN unit. This is a
short-term role for 3 weeks
, with a strong possibility of extension into a
long-term opportunity
for the right candidate.
The Role:
You'll be supporting pupils with a range of special educational needs, including autism, ADHD, and speech and language challenges. Working closely with the SEN team and class teachers, you'll help deliver tailored learning and provide emotional and behavioural support.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide 1:1 and small group support for pupils with SEN
Assist in implementing EHCP targets and personalised learning plans
Support pupils' emotional wellbeing and social development
Collaborate with teachers and SENCO to ensure inclusive learning
What We're Looking For:
Experience working with children with SEN (school-based or similar settings)
A calm, patient, and empathetic approach
Strong communication and teamwork skills
A DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
