Overview


We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with children, particularly those with special needs, including autism and other disabilities. This role is essential in providing support to teachers and fostering an inclusive learning environment that promotes the development of all students.

Duties



Assist the lead teacher in delivering educational programmes tailored to the individual needs of students. Support children with autism and other disabilities in their daily activities, ensuring they feel safe and included. Facilitate communication between students and staff, promoting effective interaction within the classroom. Help manage classroom behaviour by implementing strategies that encourage positive engagement. Provide one-on-one support to students requiring additional assistance, particularly in special education settings. Participate in training sessions and professional development opportunities to enhance skills related to teaching and special education.

Experience



Previous experience working with children, particularly those with disabilities or special educational needs, is highly desirable. A background in teaching or tutoring is beneficial, as well as familiarity with various teaching methodologies. Need to have relevant sen qualifications Need to have either Level 2 or Level 3 Certificate in Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools Strong communication skills are essential for collaborating with teachers, parents, and other professionals within the educational setting. A genuine interest in fostering a supportive learning environment for all students is crucial. Pay: 102.00-115.00 per day
