We are urgently seeking a proactive Support Specialist to join a leading provision in Plymouth. In this role, you will work within a multidisciplinary team to support pupils with complex needs, including Autism and Profound & Multiple Learning Difficulties (PMLD). This is an opportunity to work alongside Senior Leadership and Class Teachers to deliver holistic, life-changing support.Key Responsibilities
Educational Support:
Facilitate a bespoke curriculum tailored to complex individual learning needs.Holistic Care:
Assist with daily routines, including personal hygiene, feeding, and dressing duties, ensuring dignity and respect at all times.Emotional Regulation:
Manage behavioural needs and promote positive social interaction.Championing Independence:
Use targeted communication strategies to actively encourage student autonomy.Candidate Requirements
Essentials:
Youmust
hold a full UK Driving Licence and have access to a vehicle.Experience:
Previous experience or qualifications in Health & Social Care or Education are highly preferred.Attributes:
