As a 1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant, you will:
Support a pupil with
ASD and ADHD
in both classroom and unstructured settings UseMakaton
andPECS
to aid communication and interaction Implement behaviour support strategies to help regulate emotions and learning engagement Work collaboratively with teachers, SENCO, and external specialists to ensure consistent progress Track and adapt approaches to meet the child's evolving needsWhat We're Looking For
At least
2 years' experience
working with children with SEN in a primary setting Proficiency inMakaton
andPECS
A strong understanding of strategies for ASD and ADHD support Patience, resilience, and the ability to remain calm under pressure Excellent communication and teamwork skillsWhy Apply?
