Your Impact and Responsibilities:



Collaborate closely

with the classroom teacher to deliver tailored educational activities and adapt learning materials to meet individual student needs.

Provide targeted 1:1 and small group support

to students with special educational needs, ensuring they can access the curriculum and participate fully in school life.

Build trusting, positive relationships

with students, using patient and adaptive communication strategies to help them overcome learning barriers.

Foster

a safe, positive, and well-structured classroom where all children feel secure, valued, and ready to learn. Assist with the personal care and daily routines of students

as needed

, promoting their independence and well-being with dignity.

Monitor, track, and report on

students' academic, social, and emotional development, providing valuable feedback to the teaching team to inform planning.

Engage

as an active member of our school community, working alongside teachers, therapists, and other staff to foster a truly inclusive environment.

What We're Looking For:



Demonstrable experience

in a similar role, with a strong background in supporting children with diverse learning needs (experience with autism is highly desirable). A naturally patient, empathetic,

resilient,

and positive demeanor, with a genuine passion for helping children succeed. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to connect effectively with children, colleagues, and parents. A proactive team player who can also

work independently and use initiative

to respond to students' needs.

A strong understanding

of strategies and interventions for supporting students with special educational needs (e.g., visual aids, social stories, de-escalation techniques). Formal qualifications in education or childcare are beneficial but not required for candidates with strong, relevant experience.

Pay: 103.00-105.00 per day
