SEND Tutor Opportunity - 1:1 English Support (KS1 Level, ADHD Focus)

Lincoln Inclusive Tutoring is seeking a dedicated tutor to work

two evenings per week (1 hour per session)

with a KS1-level learner who has ADHD. The focus will be on

building confidence and skills in English

, using creative, flexible approaches that keep learning engaging and accessible.

What We're Looking For

QTS or equivalent qualification A background in supporting learners with ADHD. Experience working at

KS1 English level

. Patience, creativity, and the ability to adapt sessions to meet the learner's individual needs. A valid DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).

What You'll Be Doing

Delivering engaging, personalised English sessions twice a week in the evenings. Using interactive, creative approaches to capture attention and support concentration. Working towards small-step targets aligned with the learner's wider educational goals. Encouraging confidence, independence, and a positive attitude towards learning. Communicating with parents and the LIT team to ensure consistent progress.
