We are seeking dedicated SEN/SEND tutors to provide customised 1:1 tuition to our students from Key Stage 2 through to Key Stage 4 in core subjects of Maths, English and Science. Tuition will be provided in person in Chelmsford, and Maldon areas

You will be supporting learners with a range of complex needs, including but not limited to:

SEMH (Social, Emotional and Mental Health) Autism EBSA (Emotionally Based School Avoidance) MLD (Moderate Learning Difficulties)

Key Responsibilities

You will provide face-to-face 1:1 support

, working with students from

KS2 to KS4 in the areas of Chelmsford and Maldon

. Your responsibilities will include:

Delivery of KS2 to KS4 Curriculum in core academic subjects. Provide an adaptable approach to education, ensuring each learner's individual needs are met. Carry out baseline academic assessments to inform target support and intervention required and prepare lesson plans. Prepare and provide lesson reports including progress made Assist learners in transitioning to mainstream or specialist education settings as appropriate.

Candidate Profile:

Proven experience teaching or tutoring children with

SEN/SEND/SEMH requirements.

Background in education with a passion and dedication for teaching.

Preferred QTS or Higher Level Teaching Assistant certification

; however, applicants with a

minimum of two years' relevant UK

experience without qualifications are welcome.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Must be compassionate, dependable with an initiative-taking mindset

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: 25.00-28.00 per hour
