We are seeking a dynamic and experienced SEND Higher Level Teaching Assistant to join our dedicated SEND team at Kingsthorpe College. This exciting new role offers the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of students with diverse SEND, working across both our mainstream and SEND provision. The successful candidate will take a proactive role in planning and delivering engaging foundation subject lessons tailored to individual student needs, while implementing targeted academic and therapeutic interventions to support EHCP outcomes.
You will work collaboratively with subject teachers to provide essential in-class support during core lessons, ensuring our SEND students can access the curriculum effectively. The desirable candidate will bring expertise in delivering specialised SEND interventions, with experience in VCerts, ASDAN, and Functional Skills programmes being particularly valuable.
