Job Description

Source Supply are working closely with a school in Middlesbrough to recruit a number of SEND Learning Support Assistants to work on a full-time, long-term basis.

The successful Learning Support Assistants will be proactive, patient and nurturing individuals who are passionate about supporting children with severe learning difficulties.

Requirements

Salary is dependent on experience, qualifications and training. All successful applicants will:

- Hold a minimum Level 3 qualification in supporting teaching and learning (or be able to evidence they are working towards this) or an equivalent care based qualification.

- Have referenceable experience working in a school/care setting.

- Be passionate about education, with a desire to help young people thrive.

-Have excellent behaviour management skills, able to easily build rapport with children from a wide range of backgrounds.

- Be comfortable supporting children with additional needs

- Be an excellent communicator with a positive, can-do attitude.

- Ideally hold a full, clean driving licence and have access to vehicle.
