About Us


We are looking for an individual with exceptional written and verbal communication skills who is able to work in partnership with local providers and stakeholders, to ensure Oxfordshire's Local Offer and Local Offer website provides clear and accessible information for children and young people with Special Educational Needs or Disabilities (SEND) age 0-25 and their families about the services available to them.

About the Role


This role leads the maintenance and promotion of Oxfordshire's SEND Local Offer and associated projects, including the Family Help website, ensuring clear, accessible information for children and young people (0-25) with SEND and their families. You will develop and monitor online resources, integrate with related sites, and explore innovative tools to enhance support. Working closely with stakeholders, including children, young people and parent carers, you will ensure accurate, engaging content that reflects health, education and social needs. Strong communication, marketing and social media skills are essential, alongside creativity and a commitment to developing expertise in SEND, Local Offer and Early Help.
The successful candidate will have an understanding of Special Educational Needs and Disabilities, Local Offer and Early Help and be willing to develop their knowledge and successfully as well as to complete relevant training.

About you


We are looking for a dynamic communicator with a Level 3 qualification (or equivalent experience) and a commitment to professional growth. You'll build strong relationships, engage communities and create clear, inspiring content across multiple platforms. Highly organised and adaptable, you'll manage priorities with confidence and respond creatively to changing needs. Your knowledge of SEND legislation, Early Help and Working Together 2023 will help you deliver accurate guidance and support. Skilled in using digital tools and social media, you'll identify opportunities to promote services and make a real impact. Experience in project and event management is desirable.
