L.U.V Nurseries Limited is a growing privately owned day nursery who are committed to delivering the highest level of childcare, experiences, and opportunities where children can flourish.
We are currently looking to recruit for a SEND Practitioner on a part time 20 hour basis with the benefit of flexible hours between 2 - 5 days per week.
The key responsibilities for a SEND Practitioner is to:
Support children with special educational need.
Provide a safe, stimulating, and educational environment for the children to learn, play and develop.
Create interesting and inspiring activities to children to learn through play.
Build relationships with key children and record their interests and achievements through observations.
Use a friendly approach with parents and carers.
To be successful for this role you should:
Have a relevant Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Childcare
Detailed knowledge of the SEND Code of Practice (2015) and EYFS
Have an extensive knowledge and understanding of the EYFS
This would be the perfect role for an already experienced Nursery Nurse seeking a new and exciting adventure, or a newly qualified individual looking to jump straight into their early years career.
Essential Skills
Hold a NVQ level 2 or 3 or higher in early years education.
To be enthusiastic and committed to providing the highest standard of care and learning.
A genuine desire to create and maintain excellent relationships with children, colleagues, parents, and carers
To have a child-centred approach in planning high quality experiences to support all children's learning.
To be able to safeguard and promote the health, safety and welfare of all children.

Ability to inspire, mentor and lead a large team and provide inspirational and effective coaching and mentoring.
Be able to demonstrate compassion, empathy, and integrity.
Demonstrate love and care for all children.
Passionate about upholding the company's ethos and values.
Your role will include:
Providing a welcoming, caring, fun and supportive nursery environment.
Supporting the nursery manager to the day-to-day operation of the nursery ensuring the highest standards are maintained.
Leading and working collaboratively to plan and deliver excellent quality early years provision.
Believe in promoting and building strong parent partnerships to provide cohesive learning for all children.
Have a child centred approach, empowering the team to deliver rich learning opportunities for all children by creating unique and exciting opportunities and experiences.
Develop and maintain a positive working relationships with children, parents, carers and colleagues.
Delivering and maintaining the nursery's ethos and values.
Safeguarding and promoting the health, safety and welfare of all children.
