We are recruiting for a

SEND Specialist Teacher: Cognition and Learning

Full time (1 Year fixed term in the first instance)

Salary Range: MPS/UPS + SEN Allowance

Emmaus Catholic Multi Academy Company is seeking to appoint a dedicated and experienced SEND Specialist Teacher: Cognition and Learning to further strengthen our provision for children with special educational needs across our MAC. This role will involve working across both primary and secondary phases within our family of 14 Catholic schools.
You will join a highly collaborative inclusion team, working alongside our MAC Inclusion Lead and in partnership with SENDCos, school leaders, external professionals and families. Your expertise in cognition and learning will support schools in identifying and addressing needs, building capacity and improving outcomes for children.

Key responsibilities include:Supporting schools to meet the needs of pupils with SEND, building knowledge and confidence in inclusive practice Advising on curriculum adaptation, teaching strategies and interventions Working directly with pupils where appropriate to model or deliver provision Contributing to statutory processes, including EHCP assessments and annual reviews Coaching and training staff to embed best practice Promoting the MAC's vision of inclusion and service rooted in Catholic values Where needed perform diagnostic assessments for Dyslexia.
