We have an exciting opportunity at our Wythenshawe campus to join our Supported Learning Department as a SEND Support Practitioner on a permanent, full-time (35 hours per week) term-tome only (39 weeks) basis.

Who are TMC?





The Manchester College is the Largest Further Education College in the United Kingdom and has the largest provisions for 16-19yrs olds, adults, and higher education in Greater Manchester. Skills, Qualifications and Experience





To be successful in this role, you will need to:


Minimum Level 2 Learning Support qualification, or willingness to achieve within an agreed period

or


Minimum of a Level 2 Specialist support qualification (or willingness to achieve within an agreed period) Minimum of a Level 2 qualification in English and Maths Willingness to work towards a secondary specialist support area at minimum Level 2 Communication Support Practitioners require a minimum level 3 British Sign Language qualification Dyslexia Support Practitioners require a minimum level 3 supporting Learners with Dyslexia qualification

All applicants will be required to undergo an appropriate DBS check via the Criminal Records Bureau and may be subject to additional online checks as part of our pre-screening process.
