We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Support Staff to assist individuals with diverse needs, including those with autism, disabilities, and children requiring specialised care. Responsibilities
Assist individuals with autism and other disabilities in daily activities, fostering independence and confidence
Support children with special educational needs through tailored teaching and behavioural strategies
Provide care for toddlers, ensuring their safety, comfort, and developmental progress
Implement individualised programmes designed to enhance communication skills and social interaction
Facilitate engaging activities that promote learning, play, and emotional well-being
Maintain a safe, organised environment by adhering to health and safety guidelines
Collaborate closely with colleagues, families, and specialists to deliver consistent support tailored to each individual's needs
Document progress and provide feedback on development milestones and behavioural changes
Qualifications
Experience working with children or individuals with autism or disabilities is highly desirable
Knowledge of special education practices and behavioural support techniques
Strong communication skills to effectively interact with individuals of varying abilities and ages
Compassionate attitude with a genuine desire to support personal growth and development
Ability to work flexibly within a team environment
Prior experience in toddler care or working with children is advantageous
Relevant training or qualifications in special education or childcare will be considered an asset
