We are looking for an enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join our happy and successful infant school. The Teaching Assistant post is full time, Monday to Friday, 8.30am-3.30pm. This is a temporary roll dependent on funding for specific pupils, the contract will be in place whilst the funding is secured. Although this is a SEND support position to support individual pupils, it won't be wholly 1:1 but will be a mixture of roles within the unit.
We would like someone who:
is passionate about supporting children's learning
has ideally worked in a primary/infant school before
has excellent interpersonal and organisational skills
has good literacy and numeracy skills
has knowledge of the primary curriculum

What You Need to Succeed
To be successful in this role you will need to:
Be educated to at east GCSE level in English and Maths
Ability to work confidently with children with specific SEN needs
Be patience and have the ability to stay calm under pressure.
