Job Summary


We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Teacher to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and experience working with children in various capacities. This role involves fostering a positive learning environment, implementing effective teaching strategies, and supporting the diverse needs of students. The Teacher will be responsible for developing lesson plans, assessing student progress, and engaging with parents and guardians to ensure the best outcomes for each child.

Responsibilities



Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that cater to various learning styles. Foster a supportive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation. Utilise behaviour management techniques to maintain a positive classroom atmosphere. Assess and monitor student progress through regular evaluations and feedback. Provide tutoring and mentoring support to students as needed. Collaborate with colleagues to create interdisciplinary learning experiences. Communicate effectively with parents regarding student performance and behaviour. Incorporate speech therapy techniques when necessary to support students with communication challenges. Facilitate physical education activities that promote health and fitness among students. Maintain accurate records of student attendance, assessments, and progress reports.

Qualifications



A degree in Education or a related field, with a focus on Early Childhood Education preferred. Experience working with children in educational or childcare settings is essential. Knowledge of special education practices and applied behaviour analysis is advantageous. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, are required for effective interaction with students, parents, and colleagues. Proficiency in teaching subjects such as Maths is desirable. Experience in proofreading educational materials is beneficial. A passion for mentoring young learners and providing exceptional childcare is essential. Previous experience in preschool settings or toddler care will be considered an asset.
