BrightHire Education are seeking a passionate and dedicated SEND Teacher to join our supportive and inclusive team. The successful candidate will work with pupils with a range of special educational needs and disabilities, helping them to achieve their full potential academically, socially, and emotionally.
You will plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons, create a nurturing learning environment, and work closely with support staff, families, and external professionals.
Key Responsibilities
Plan, deliver, and assess high-quality teaching tailored to individual needs
Support pupils with a range of SEND, including [e.g. ASD, ADHD, SEMH, SLD]
Develop and review Individual Education Plans (IEPs/EHCP outcomes)
Work collaboratively with teaching assistants and the wider SEND team
Build positive relationships with pupils, parents/carers, and professionals
Promote inclusion, wellbeing, and positive behaviour
The Ideal Candidate Will Have
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
Experience working with children or young people with SEND
A patient, flexible, and empathetic approach to teaching
Strong communication and teamwork skills
A commitment to safeguarding and inclusive practice
