19.5 hours: Monday to Thursday morning plus all day Friday

Are you an experienced EYFS or KS1 teacher with a good understanding of how children with complex needs learn?

We have a committed and dedicated team of teachers and support staff who are committed to supporting and extending the children's learning opportunities. As an inclusive school we hold restorative relationships at the heart of our practice with children, staff and parents.



We are seeking to appoint an additional teacher to join our year 2 team. This professional will have responsibility for a group of children in our Year 2 class alongside the permanent members of staff. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced EYFS/KS1 teacher or a teacher who has worked in specialist provision and is now looking to work in mainstream.

For this post we are looking for a teacher who:



Has experience of teaching early years or KS1 with some EYFS background


Has a working understanding of complex needs (ADHD/ PDA/Autism)



Has a good understanding of the EHCP process and working with outside agencies


Values the importance of integrating children with complex needs into mainstream Has a positive, resilient and engaging personality and who works well as part of a team


Builds positive, effective relationships with parents


Has a genuine drive to help and support children with additional needs to receive the very best education possible
