SEND Professional
to join a dynamic team at a specialist setting in Birmingham.
About the Role:
This role focuses on providing tailored support to pupils, helping them overcome barriers to learning and achieve their full potential. By fostering positive relationships and delivering targeted interventions, you will play a key part in creating an aspirational environment where success is celebrated.
Key Responsibilities:
Supporting pupils with SEMH needs on a 1:1 or small group basis.
Assisting in the planning and delivery of individualised lessons and intervention packages.
Encouraging positive behaviours and supporting pupils in achieving behaviour targets.
Collaborating with teachers, parents, and external agencies to ensure consistent support for pupils.
Contributing to the school's reflective practices and improvement initiatives.
Requirements:
Experience:
Minimum of 2 years working with SEMH or in a similar SEND role.
DBS Check:
Enhanced DBS certificate (or willingness to obtain one).
Skills:
Strong communication, empathy, and a proactive approach to supporting pupils with unique needs.
Commitment:
A genuine passion for working with SEMH pupils and helping them achieve their potential.
Must have a Level 3 in Childcare or Degree in Childcare or comparable qualification
