Key Responsibilities
Provide 1:1 and small group support for pupils with a range of SEND, including autism, ADHD, sensory needs, and learning difficulties.
Work collaboratively with teachers, SENCOs, and external professionals to implement tailored learning plans and EHC Plans.
Support inclusive teaching by adapting classroom resources and activities to meet diverse learning needs.
Promote emotional well-being and positive behaviour through structured interventions.
Contribute to wider school life by supporting events, activities, and school community engagement.
What We're Looking For
Qualifications:
A Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification or SEND-related training is preferred, though not essential.
Experience:
Previous experience in a SEND, TA, or LSA role is highly valued.
Skills:
Strong communication, patience, and the ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff.
Knowledge:
Familiarity with strategies such as PECS, Makaton, or sensory and behavioural support is desirable but not required.
