Job Description

SEN Teaching Assistant

We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and dedicated teaching

assistant to join our dynamic team. The position will be based in a

mixed age class, with children aged between 5 and 10 years old, but

will be working primarily with the youngest children, aged 5 and 6,

who follow a gentle weekly rhythm where they are given the

freedom to immerse themselves in open ended, imaginative play

and develop their will through handwork projects. We are looking

for someone who is caring and kind but also able to set clear

boundaries and expectations of routines. The ideal candidate will

work closely with the class teacher, adapting as needed to meet the

needs of the children. Additionally, the ideal candidate will have

experience working in a primary or early years classroom and of

promoting positive behaviour.

Job Types: Part-time, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 12 months

Pay: 12.65 per hour

Expected hours: 18.50 per week
