Key Responsibilities:



Provide tailored support to pupils with autism and complex learning needs Work closely with the class teacher and SENDCo to implement EHCP targets Use communication tools such as PECS, Makaton, or BSL (training provided if needed) Foster independence, emotional regulation, and engagement in learning Support sensory needs and implement structured routines Contribute to a positive, inclusive classroom culture

What We're Looking For:



Experience working with children with SEND, particularly autism and complex needs A calm, empathetic approach and strong communication skills Team player with a proactive attitude and a sense of humour Knowledge of inclusive strategies and a commitment to safeguarding Relevant qualifications or willingness to train
