Job Description

Source Supply are working with a mainstream primary school in Middlesbrough to recruit an experienced SEND Teaching Assistant to work in one of their support bases.

Starting in November, this is a full-time role working on a 1-to-1 or small group basis with children with additional needs. The ideal candidate will have experience working with young people with complex needs (including developmental days and learning difficulties) and will be a positive and nurturing influence within the setting.

Requirements

Salary is dependent on experience, qualifications and training. All successful applicants will:

- Hold a minimum Level 3 qualification in supporting teaching and learning (or be able to evidence they are working towards this).

- Have referenceable experience working in a SEND school setting.

- Be passionate about education, with a desire to help young people thrive.

- Be comfortable supporting the class teacher to deliver a range of lessons.

- Be an excellent communicator with a positive, can-do attitude.

- Ideally hold a full, clean driving licence and have access to vehicle.
