Due to increased workload we are now seeking more SEND Tribunal Support Advisers (TSA) to join our Tribunal Support team. This will be a

Seasonal/Periodic

role which will cover Annual Leave and increased work loads.

We are seeking an

experienced SEND Tribunal Adviser

who is well versed in current legislation within England and the statutory duties that need to be adhered to. You

MUST

be able to hit the ground running and have experience of running a Tribunal Caseload.

You will be able to deliver impartial and accurate information, advice and support for parents, carers and young people regarding Special Educational Needs or Disabilities (SEND).

This role involves supporting parents, carers, young people and children to help them understand and exercise their rights in SEND processes. This will include work surrounding the Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP's) within the Tribunal processes.

Up-to-date knowledge is needed regarding appeals including RTA, RTI, section I only, contents appeals (B,F and I) and extended appeals. We also support parents and young people with disability discrimination appeals all within the First Tier Tribunal.

Case management varies on a case-by-case basis, which can include running all correspondence needed and having regular meetings with clients who will need varying levels of support from advice to you managing the whole case
