Salary: 33,000 to 40,000 per annum (dep on experience and qualifications)
Hours: Full-time, term time only (Mon-Fri)
Location: All four sites of Inaura School in Blackford, Burrowbridge, Street and Westhay Moor
Contract: Permanent

Inaura School is a small, specialist SEMH school nestled in the Somerset countryside, where we work 1:1 with extraordinary young people who need something different. A rare and exciting opportunity has arisen to join our team, as the SENDCo role becomes available for the first time in many years. We are looking for someone to build on the strong foundations already in place and continue our commitment to providing outstanding support for students with complex SEND. For the right candidate, this position offers the potential to join the Senior Leadership Team, allowing you to have a broader impact on the strategic direction of SEND provision across the school.

What You'll Be Doing
Leading and coordinating high-quality SEND provision across the school, ensuring every EHCP is a living, meaningful plan
Championing the needs of students with SEMH, working closely with families, staff, and external professionals
Planning and chairing Annual Reviews, and ensuring statutory compliance with EHCP processes and timeframes
Supporting colleagues through advice, coaching, and CPD on trauma-informed, relational approaches
Overseeing Access Arrangements in line with JCQ guidance, ensuring fair and consistent exam support
Contributing to whole-school strategy and improvement with a clear, compassionate SEND perspective.
