About this Role

We're looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic

SENDCO

to join our team on a part-time basis. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in shaping the learning journey of pupils aged 4-11, ensuring they have access to a broad, balanced and inclusive curriculum.

What You'll Be Doing:

Leading the identification of SEND needs and coordinating appropriate interventions. Monitoring and evaluating the impact of support strategies across the school. Supporting staff with curriculum development and inclusive teaching practices. Liaising with parents, external agencies, and colleagues to ensure the best outcomes for pupils. Managing assessment, reporting, and performance tracking for SEND pupils. Contributing to the wider life of the school, including staff development and strategic planning.

What We're Looking For:

A qualified teacher with experience or a strong interest in SEND provision. A compassionate and proactive professional who can inspire and support others. Excellent communication and organisational skills. A team player who is committed to inclusive education and continuous improvement.

The Bishop Creighton Academy, part of the Greenwood Academies Trust (GAT), is located in Peterborough. It joined the GAT in April 2015 and has a diverse and culturally rich pupil intake that has grown in recent years and shares in the Trusts vision of helping all pupils to succeed despite their background.
