Applications are invited for the post of Senior Academic Services Administrator in Moray House School of Education and Sport, within the College of Arts, Humanities & Social Sciences. There is one post available offered on a 0.6 FTE part-time, open-ended basis.

This post is advertised as part-time (21 hours per week), and we are open to considering requests for hybrid working (on a non-contractual basis) that combines a mix of remote and regular on-campus working.

The Opportunity:

The Moray House School of Education and Sport is seeking to appoint a Senior Academic Services Administrator. The successful candidates will be responsible for administrative tasks for an assigned portfolio of programmes and courses across UG, PGT and PGR. They will be a member of the School\'s Academic Services Office which operates as \'one team\' supporting a culture of collaboration and personal growth. This includes providing administrative expertise to ensure that programmes and courses are delivered, administered and assessed efficiently within required deadlines, and to required academic standards. The role supports a fast paced and demanding academic environment and requires the post holder to take initiative and ownership of the programme and courses they provide administrative support to.

Your skills and attributes for success:

Excellent all-round administrative skills (including proficiency in the use of Office 365 applications, particularly MS Excel)

Attention to accuracy and detail, especially when working with large datasets

Ability to work calmly under pressure, to plan and to prioritise

A high standard of customer service and communication skills
