The Role



As a Senior Sales Executive at Insurgo Media, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth by identifying, developing, and managing new business sales within our defined Strategic Target Markets and Accounts outlined in our Sales Strategy.

You will focus on organisations operating in highly regulated environments, managing large-scale data archives on magnetic media, and demonstrating formal ESG commitments.

Your primary objective will be to generate profitable projects through direct engagement with decision-makers aligned with our buyer profiles. These projects may be delivered directly by Insurgo or fulfilled in collaboration with our Service Providers, spanning our full suite of core products outlined in your sales plan.

Key Responsibilities



Meet or exceed your individual sales targets as defined in your annual sales plan. Follow the documented sales motion process, ensuring that all required artefacts are created, updated, and maintained throughout the sales cycle. Maintain accurate and timely records in the CRM, fully complying with company policies. Conduct strategic prospecting, especially within the financial services sector, targeting accounts aligned with our strategy. Engage effectively with key buyer profiles from our Sales Playbooks; provide feedback and suggest improvements. Clearly articulate our value propositions across regulatory compliance, verifiable data destruction, and environmental sustainability. Adopt a consultative selling approach, positioning yourself as a credible advisor on industry regulation and data governance. Use multi-channel strategies - including direct outreach, content-driven campaigns, and event-based engagement - to drive opportunity development. Qualify and prioritise opportunities based on defined fit and potential, rapidly deprioritising those that do not meet strategic criteria. Develop case studies and reference accounts to support growth. Build and maintain long-term, strategic client relationships over transactional deals.

Qualifications



Proven track record of sales success in tech, compliance, or data security, ideally within financial services. Ability to manage complex sales involving multiple stakeholders and technical considerations. Deep understanding of financial regulation (GDPR, PCI DSS, etc.). Experience using consultative, value-based sales methodologies. Excellent communicator -- able to simplify complex ideas into business value. Self-motivated, organised, and focused on opportunity qualification. Proficiency in CRM platforms and sales enablement tools.

Performance Metrics



Achievement of sales quota and KPIs. Accuracy in pipeline forecasting and CRM updates. Growth in average deal size and repeat business. Strategic relationship development at senior/executive levels. Quality of sales documentation and communication. Development of client references and success stories.
This role sits within Insurgo's structured salary grading framework, with the base salary graded up to 85,000 per annum, depending on experience, capability, and assigned grade (Grade I-IV). The role is supported by a performance-based commission plan, with annual sales quotas aligned to grade level.
