The Opportunity
As our
Senior Account Manager
, you'll play a pivotal role in managing high-value client relationships, influencing how building products are specified in major residential and commercial projects ranging from 1m to 500m. You'll work closely with construction professionals: Architects, Engineers, Quantity Surveyors, Design and Site Managers, to grow market presence and deliver outstanding commercial results for our clients.
What You'll Do
Manage 3-4 key client accounts, delivering on KPIs and commercial growth targets
Make proactive outbound calls to specifiers and decision-makers across the construction sector
Drive engagement on new projects, increasing client enquiry and specification rates
Conduct review meetings, pipeline forecast reporting, and data health checks
Identify issues in client data (e.g. incorrect project stages/sectors) and propose solutions
Build strong, consultative relationships with client contacts and project stakeholders
Collaborate with internal teams and take part in structured training and performance huddles
Maintain accurate, up-to-date CRM data, capturing all activity and opportunities
You're Perfect For This Role If You Have
Proven experience in B2B account management or construction lead generation
Strong understanding of the UK construction lifecycle and specification process
Full proficiency with Barbour ABI and/or Glenigan platforms
Excellent telephone communication skills with a confident and professional tone
Attention to detail, data accuracy, and a proactive mindset
Experience using Microsoft Office and CRM tools
A "can-do" attitude with the ability to manage multiple priorities
People management or mentoring experience (a plus)

Experience working with or for building product manufacturers or construction suppliers.
