About the Role.
As a Senior Account Manager at Hydrogen, you'll take the lead on some of our most high-profile accounts, ensuring we deliver brilliant work, grounded in strategy, and aligned to clear business outcomes.
This is a senior client services role where you'll work closely with clients to understand their challenges, lead campaign development, and deliver creative, strategic solutions that achieve results. You'll also play a key role in spotting opportunities to grow accounts and uncover new briefs.
You'll be supported by a small team, and you'll be responsible for coaching and mentoring them to deliver with confidence and quality.
This is a 12-month fixed-term contract to cover parental leave.
Key Responsibilities.
Lead client relationships across a portfolio of accounts, building trust and ensuring consistent communication.
Manage projects end-to-end, ensuring work is delivered on time, on budget, and to brief.
Develop and embed strategic plans, ensuring campaigns address real business challenges.
Monitor performance and suggest optimisations to improve results.
Spot and convert new opportunities within existing clients, developing proposals and statements of work.
Manage client revenue and forecasting, ensuring commercial success and profitability.
Collaborate with internal teams (Content, Paid Media, Design, Insight) to deliver high-quality work.
Line manage and develop junior team members, supporting their growth and progression.
Champion new ideas and share insights that elevate work across the agency.
About you.
You're a confident communicator and a natural relationship-builder. You know how to manage multiple accounts and bring a strategic lens to campaign development. You thrive in fast-paced agency environments and are excited by the opportunity to mentor others.
We're looking for someone who:
Has proven experience in client service or account management roles within a marketing or creative agency.
Understands the full campaign lifecycle, from brief through to delivery and reporting.
Brings strong commercial acumen and can manage account revenue and profitability.
Can confidently liaise with senior client stakeholders.
Is passionate about social media and understands how it integrates into wider marketing activity.
Brings strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
Is adaptable, solutions-focused, and thrives on collaboration.
Has leadership qualities and a proactive, can-do attitude.
