The Overview

We\'re looking for an ambitious generalist Senior Account Manager

You will be:

  • Leading the day-to-day client account management and counsel as part of a team on client accounts across different sectors
  • Leading project activations from brief to execution across clients
  • Participating in all-agency brainstorms for new client briefs, and leading the brainstorm for your own client briefs as required
  • Be part of the team pitching creative ideas to clients
  • Leading media sell ins, managing an effective media strategy and team briefing to ensure maximum coverage results
  • Supporting the management and development of junior team members on your accounts/team including effective resource-planning and time management
  • Responsible for providing informative and meaningful client reporting
The Day to Day:
  • Leading client-led project execution, responsible for delivering to deadlines, efficiently managing team resource and budgets, and effectively managing client relationships
  • Leading role on day-to-day retained accounts, including client management and consultancy, keeping on top of overall account planning and timelines and regularly reporting up to senior team on account status
  • Taking client briefs from brief to budget sign off, including managing response timelines, brainstorms, presentation writing and presenting back to clients as part of a team
  • Managing project commercials, including client contracts, supplier terms, drafting and reconciling budgets with support from senior team lead
  • Managing resource for your projects/accounts across the junior team (with support of team leader and other senior members of the team), working to ensure cost-effective campaign delivery and reporting back on time worked regularly to manage potential over-servicing
  • Setting KPIs for projects and managing their delivery with both the team and the client
  • Overseeing delivery of PR assets, including photography, video content, events and influencer content - with support of Taylor Herring\'s production company
  • Effectively manage PR shoots for video and photography assets, including overall shoot management on site for projects under \xc2\xa350k - such as engaging suppliers, drafting supplier briefs, talent engagement and briefings, shooting schedules, etc
  • Draft and/or effectively edit press releases for different types of PR activations (e.g. survey story, event, production build, video content, etc)
  • Lead media sell ins including drafting sell in strategy and briefing the sell in team
  • Overseeing delivery of account/project reporting, including meaningful campaign summaries and coverage reports
  • Participate in all-agency brainstorms, bringing creativity and insights to the table
  • Support and manage the development of the junior members of your team (particularly those you will Line Manage)
  • Strong knowledge of the UK editorial media landscape
  • Ability to work as part of a cross-agency team for clients as required
Qualifications

Skills Expected:
  • Strong experience working in PR for consumer brands (or similar experience)
  • Project management and execution
  • Excellent use of Microsoft Office (including Outlook, Word, Excel, Powerpoint)
  • Client management and reporting
  • Contract drafting (for clients and suppliers)
  • Pitch writing
  • Budget creation and management
  • Junior Staff Management
  • Cross-Agency working experience if possible
