We're looking for an experienced and inspiring Senior Account Manager level candidate to be responsible for the account management of a portfolio of priority clients as part of our Private Equity (PE) channel. Our team focuses on the firm's top priority accounts across different segments and supports lead relationship partners and account teams to drive profitable revenue growth and deliver exceptional client value.


PwC's PE Channel is built around a three-pillar go-to-market model, House, Portfolio and Deals, which connects our relationships with private equity funds, their portfolio companies, and investment activity. Our client base spans 3 categories including Global PE, European PE, and Midmarket firms, each requiring a tailored approach. Global accounts demand coordinated international coverage and all 3 value agility, regional collaboration, and sector depth. Across all segments, Account Managers ensure that PwC's capabilities are connected and that clients experience a consistent, high-quality relationship. Your ability to navigate the complexity of the PE market and understand our client's modus operandi will be a critical success factor in this role.

Our Account Management team focuses on supporting the firm's 150 top UK priority accounts across multiple segments and sectors, supporting lead relationship partners and account teams to drive stronger sustainable client relationships, pipeline, sales and revenue.

What your day is like

Enable high performing teams of partners and staff to deliver enhanced client experiences. Facilitate development of differentiated account strategies that align to commercial goals. Mobilise account teams to deliver on objectives of annual account plans. Lead creation and management of target client relationship maps. Gain full understanding of the client's priorities in order to make internal connections. Collate, curate and communicate insights including client feedback utilising Gen AI tools. Lead on the creation and quality of pipeline insights and relevant interventions to drive required sales performance. Collaborate with Pursuit teams on win strategy acting as the voice of the client. Coordinate financial insights and analysis to help support the account team with business development activity. Create and sustain strong relationships with the client procurement team. Oversee delivery of reports to clients (e.g. procurement, value add and compliance).

The role is for you if you have

Experience working in a transactions or deals based environment Deep understanding of the market dynamics and macroeconomic landscape within which private equity companies operate Build strong relationships with senior internal stakeholders via excellent communications and influencing skills. Ability to develop strong relationships with client procurement teams. Thorough understanding of the strategic business drivers for complex clients. Expert understanding of best practice account management. A proven track record in business development and client relationship management. Leading, motivating, developing and coaching diverse account teams. A proactive individual who is able to work effectively as part of a team. Strong commercial acumen in terms of managing pipeline and coaching sales teams. Experience of people management and developing individuals/teams to create value across the account team. Proficient understanding and application of CRM and Financial Reporting tools (e.g. Salesforce). Strong knowledge of account lifecycle and ability to apply best practice.
