We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven
Senior Account Manager
to join our growing team. Working closely with the
Head of Sales
, sales colleagues, marketing, and service leads, you will play a pivotal role in driving revenue growth across our portfolio, while maintaining and developing relationships with our valued client base.
In this varied role, you will:
Proactively manage and grow existing client relationships.
Upsell and cross-sell services across our Finance, MIS, ICT, and budgeting portfolio.
Identify and secure new business opportunities within the education sector.
Represent SBS at regional and national exhibitions and events.
Collaborate with sales, marketing, and service teams to maximise opportunities.
Develop and maintain an accurate sales pipeline, reporting directly to the Head of Sales.
Achieve and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
Contribute to tender writing and bid completion across services.
Act as an ambassador for SBS, building strong client relationships and maintaining our excellent reputation in the education sector.

We're looking for an experienced and motivated sales professional with a passion for education and a proven track record of success.
You will bring:
Experience in a client-facing role such as
Senior Account Manager, Business Development Manager, or Sales Manager
(ideally within the education sector).
A strong track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets.
Experience in selling to schools, academies, or trusts, with a good understanding of the education landscape.
Confidence in presenting to senior leaders and C-suite clients.
Ability to identify, develop, and close business opportunities across services.
Experience in promoting, demonstrating, and selling software solutions and services.
Excellent relationship management skills with the ability to build trust quickly.
Willingness to meet clients face-to-face to showcase SBS services.
Experience supporting and mentoring colleagues or new starters.
A professional, solutions-focused approach with ambition to drive growth.
