Position Summary





As a Senior Account Manager, you will be responsible for driving strategic growth within an assigned portfolio of high-value partners and identifying new business opportunities. This senior role demands a consultative sales approach, strong commercial acumen, and a proactive attitude toward building and nurturing long-term customer relationships. You will frequently visit clients on-site to better understand their business needs, provide tailored solutions, and support project delivery from initial concept to completion.

Principal Duties:





Manage a portfolio of high-value accounts, acting as a trusted advisor and primary point of contact. Identify and pursue strategic growth opportunities within both existing and prospective partner organisations. Conduct face-to-face meetings with customers to strengthen relationships, uncover new opportunities, and present solutions. Work collaboratively with internal teams (Pre-Sales, Technical Support, Marketing, and Logistics) to deliver outstanding service and support. Develop account plans to ensure consistent growth and alignment with vendor and company goals. Negotiate pricing, contracts, and commercial terms in line with company objectives. Stay current on Purdicom's product portfolio and vendor technologies. Represent Purdicom at industry events, vendor briefings, and partner meetings. Maintain accurate and timely records of account activity, forecasts, and pipeline in the CRM system.



Knowledge & Skill Requirements



3-5+ years of experience in a senior sales, account management, or business development role, ideally within the technology, networking, security or distribution sectors. Proven track record of managing and growing strategic accounts. Strong customer-facing experience with the ability to conduct high-level meetings and presentations. Deep understanding of wireless, networking, security or cloud technologies is highly desirable. Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. Results-driven with strong planning and organisational skills. Ability and willingness to travel across the UK for client meetings and events.
